Saudi Arabia refuses US request to seize Iraqi pilgrimage plane

Western diplomatic sources in the Gulf states said on Wednesday that Saudi Arabia refused a US request calling for seizing the Iraqi plane which boarded pilgrims and landed in Jeddah two days earlier. The Western sources added that the Saudi authorities provided the Iraqi pilgrims similar services usually given to all pilgrims because they are carrying official entry visas to perform the al-Haj rituals.
