Originally published

The ninth Arab national conference resumed in Beirut yesterday and focused in its second day on discussing the strategy of a work plan regarding the "Arab - Zionist conflict."

Some participants in the session, headed by Jordanian politician Hamad Farahat, spoke on the topic.

The conference directed a cable to the Arab Kings and leaders that expressed condemnation of the participants in the daily US and British shelling of Iraq.

They asked the Arab governments to declare their clear opposition to this aggression and called for putting an immediate end to the strikes as well as for lifting the sanctions from Iraq.
