Egyptian - Italian parliamentary working group to be formed

An Egyptian - Italian parliamentary joint working group will be formed to meet at least once a year in Egypt of Italy, Egyptian People's Assembly Speaker Ahmed Fathi Sorour said yesterday.

He added that this group aims at enhancing fields of mutual cooperation between the two countries in different domains, exchanging expertise, and promoting dialogue through symposiums and bringing together the works between Egypt and Rome in international and regional issues and positions.

This working group, Sorour added, will prepare for a parliamentary day every year, starting from autumn 1999, where the first meeting will be held in Cairo to boost cooperation and parliamentary and cultural exchange exchange between Egypt and Italy.
