Moroccan-French cooperation discussed at follow-up meeting in Rabat
Various aspects of Moroccan-French cooperation will be discussed this wednesday in Rabat by the two countries' senior officials.
The Rabat meeting, held to follow up and assess the decisions made last October in Paris by the two countries' prime ministers at their annual meeting, will set the schedule of ministerial meetings and the date of the coming session of the Moroccan-French commission.
It will examine the progress made in implementing joint projects as well as the question of swapping Morocco's debts into investments.
The various aspects of cultural, scientific and technical cooperation will also be discussed in addition to consultations on relations between Morocco and the European Union and on the Euro-Mediterranean process in the prospect of the Stuttgart summit, to be held next April 15-16.
The French delegation to the meeting is led by diplomatic adviser to the Prime Minister, Jean-Maurice Ripert.
