Hizbullah: Israel faces a severe crisis in Lebanon

Originally published

The secretary general of Hizbullah, Hassan Nasrallah, stated that Israel is facing a severe crisis due to the successful strikes of the Lebanese resistance.

He urged Hizbullah not to fear Israeli threats, excluding that Israel may carry out expanded military operations at this stage because it would be an "unguaranteed risk."

Nasrallah said that modifying the 1996 April Understanding agreement is absolutely rejected, asserting that that is the main goal of US Undersecretary of State Martin Indyk's visit to the area.

He said that the modifications raised would eliminate the resistance's right to retaliate against northern Israel, even if Israeli troops commit massacres in Lebanon, which means preventing launching Katyusha missiles against northern Israel.
