Jordanian king praises relations with Syria

Jordan's King Abdullah Bin al-Hussein on Monday expressed his pride over the solid and fraternal relations linking Syria and Jordan. The King expressed his hope for continued consolidation of bilateral relations in the service of the two countries and in defense of the Arab nation's causes, MENA reported.

In a cable he sent on Monday to Syrian President Hafez al-Assad on the occasion of the 36th anniversary of the March 8 revolution, the King said: "Thanks to your continued efforts and farsightedness and political wisdom, Syria could achieve tremendous achievements in the march of the Syrian people and the great backing for the Arab nation's causes," the report said.
