King Abdullah confers with Arab fund's director

King Abdullah of Jordan on Sunday in Amman discussed with the director general of the board of the Arab Fund for Social and Economic Development, Abdul Latif al-Hamad, the efforts carried out by the fund in backing Jordanian economic activities.

During the meeting, stress was placed on the Fund's interest in financing several projects in Jordan, especially in the areas of water, social services and education.

King Abdullah praised the role played by the Arab Fund in financing the Jordanian economy, hoping that best relations will continue between Jordan and the fund.

Al-Hamad, for his part, stressed the fund's continued support for Jordan's efforts aim at improving the Jordanian economy.
