Originally published

The chambers of commerce and industry of Nador and of the Spanish southern city of Almeria signed here Tuesday a cooperation convention meant to be "a bridge of friendship between business people of the two Mediterranean countries."

The two chambers pledged to facilitate the creation of Moroccan-Spanish joint ventures to give more dynamism to the "traditional" exchanges between the two regions.

The Spanish delegation presented a list of some 40 Spanish enterprises from all economic fields wishing to invest in Morocco, and in Nador particularly.

The head of the chamber of Almeria noted that the similarities existing between the two regions are factors inducing the trust of Spanish investors.
