China for boosting Arab-Chinese relations

Chairman of the information office of the Chinese State Council has asserted the deep Chinese-Arab relations that have been witnessing in rapid growth in recent years. In a reception for heads of Arab diplomatic missions accredited in Beijing, the Chinese official reiterated his country's support for the legitimate rights of the Arab people as well as to the Middle East peace process.

He added that during his recent visit to the Middle East, the Chinese deputy chairman of the State Council proposed four principles in order to strengthen and develop firm and lasting relations between China and the Arab states towards the 21st century. He added that these principles are manifested in strengthening dialogue in intensifying consultations, equality, exchanging benefits as well as strengthening coordination and cooperation in international matters.

The Chinese media official stressed the need of consolidating cooperation in the field the media.
