Morocco hosts conference on human rights education in the Arab states
Morocco will play host this February 17-20 to a conference on human rights education in the Arab world.
Organized in collaboration with the UNESCO and the UN Development Program, the conference -- to be attended by several Arab officials and experts -- will hear various reports on the experience of Arab countries in matters of human rights culture and education.
Participants will also assess the progress made by Arab states in the field and will discuss the role and importance of human rights in boosting socioeconomic development and consolidating democracy and the rule of law.
