800 gold mines discovered in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Wealth Ali El-Neami announced today that 800 gold mines have been discovered so far in Saudi Arabia.

In a report, the Saudi minister said that Saudi Arabia's government encourages the private sector in investment in the mining sector, pointing out that Saudi Arabia is currently restructuring the mining sector, regulating it and establishing the necessary policies and plans to coordinate between all sides concerned with mining investments.

The minister added that the Saudi Company for Minerals has used new techniques to enhance the ability to extract gold from raw material.
