Iraqi Foreign Minister in Morocco

Iraqi Foreign Minister, Mohamed Said Essahaf, arrived in Marrakesh on Thursday, for a visit to Morocco, part of an Arab tour.

The Iraqi official will surely be received by King Hassan II who is currently sojourning in Marrakesh, Map reported.

Al-Sahaf who already visited Algeria, Tunisia and Libya had said at the tour aims at coordinating Arab efforts to face up the US-British aggression and lift the embargo imposed on Iraq since 1990.

At a recent meeting in Rabat, Iraq's ambassador to Morocco and Moroccan minister in charge relations with the Parliament underlined the major role played by Morocco for the settlement of the problems that aroused after the gulf war.
