Portuguese - Egyptian discussions

Consultations between Egypt and Portugal started in the Foreign Ministry's headquarters for two days. The Egyptian side is headed by Sayed Abu Zied, the assistant foreign minister for Arab affairs, while the Portuguese side is headed by Govio Salgerio, the Portuguese assistant foreign minister for political affairs.

The discussion tackled bilateral ties between the two countries and means of enhancing them in different fields, as well as the European - Middle Eastern partnership and coordination between the two countries within the partnership.
