Exhibition in Florence to show the beauty of ancient Egypt

Egyptian Minister of Culture Farouk Hosni agreed to the establishment of an exhibition of Egyptian antiquities in Florence, Italy to be held under the title "Fine Art in Ancient Egypt" from March 5 through July 4.

The exhibition will comprise 59 selected artistic works that show the genius of Egyptian artists in photography and sculpture through the ages of Egyptian history.

Gab Allah Fab Allah, the secretary of the higher council of antiquities, decided to form a committee to start selecting the pieces that will be displayed in Italy, and he said this exhibition aims at attracting tourism to Egypt.
