South Korean premier arrives in Israel
South Korea's Prime Minister Kim Chong-pil arrived in Tel Aviv on Sunday for a three-day official visit to Israel.
An official source said that Kim arrived in Tel Aviv from Egypt. He is accompanied by a large delegation comprising ministers and parliament members on the first visit paid by an official from South Korea to Israel since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1962. Kim will meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Israeli President Ezer Weizman.
On Tuesday, the Korean delegation will head for the Palestinian self-rule authorities to meet with Yasser Arafat.
