Moroccan political parties hold rally in solidarity with muslim Kosovars
Two Moroccan political parties, the National Popular Movement "MNP" and the Party for Justice and Development "PJD," are holding next Sunday a rally in solidarity with the Muslim people of Kosovo.
The two parties announced that the rally to be chaired by their respective leaders is part of their efforts to support oppressed Muslim people.
The USA is warning Yugoslav president Slobodan Milosevic that NATO air strikes were still possible if he does not accept international proposals to end the Serbs' brutal repression in Kosovo. US Secretary of State, Madeleine Albright, said "there should be no doubt on either side that the consequences of failure to reach agreement or to show restraint on the ground will be swift and severe."
France is hosting as of tomorrow negotiations on the fate of the Kosovo province.
Muslims are outraged that the USA, which is claiming the role of world policeman, has failed up to now to show the same diligence in dealing with the Kosovo crisis as it did when it swiftly conducted air-raids against Iraq in January.
Last week, the Islamic group at the United Nations Organization expressed "deep worries" following the premeditated and cold-blood massacre of 45 innocent Muslim civilians in the village of Racak, Kosovo, during the Muslims' fasting month of Ramadan.
The delegates held a meeting on the situation in Kosovo and condemned the massacre as a remnant of the genocide and ethnic cleansing crimes perpetrated in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The delegates of Islamic member countries also expressed full solidarity with the people of Kosovo and renewed condemnation of the crime against humanity perpetrated by the Serbian security Forces. They urged the security council to undertake an action, in accordance with the UN charter, to guarantee the safety and security of all the inhabitants of Kosovo.
