Jordanian anti-normalization committee prepares to convene general conference
The Jordanian committee in charge of confronting normalization with Israel is preparing to convene a general conference which is to discuss the achievements of the anti-normalization committees in various parts of Jordan.
The conference will review a list of the names of companies and figures that normalized relations with Israel through visits or trade and business relations or in attending festivities and receptions organized by the Israeli embassy in Amman.
The committee comprises representatives of opposition parties, people's, commissions and Jordanian national figures. The conference, moreover, will discuss the process of drawing up a new mechanism to resist normalization, based on educating Jordanian citizens and acquainting them with the consequences of normalization as well as urging them to boycott commodities that come from Israel.
The Jordanian weekly al-Majd said the committee awaits the consent of sides concerned in Jordan in order to convene this conference.
