A delegation from the international monetary fund is visiting Baghdad

Hussein Ibrahim El-Mofti, manager of the information department in the Iraqi Ministry of Finance asserted that the date for a visit by a delegation from the International Monetary Fund to Iraq on February 17 has not changed.

The manager of the Middle East department in the International Monetary Fund announced during last December that he had received an official invitation to visit Baghdad and he stated that he would fulfill the invitation and head a delegation from the fund for this purpose.

Hussein Ibrahim El-Mofti said that the Iraqi Ministry of Finance asked the fund to present support for reconstructing the administrative body, building a statistical base, establishing a market for exchanging foreign currencies and planning a budget.
