Euro-Mediterranean Conference Opens in Valenci

Delegates from 27 European and mediterranean countries are convening this Thursday a two-day meeting in Valencia, Eastern Spain, to assess cooperation programs and discuss new partnership mechanisms.

The Meeting will examine means of upgrading cooperation at the bilateral and regional levels as well as south-south cooperation.

The Valencia meeting will prepare the Euro-Med conference to be held in Stuttgart, Germany, next April 15-16, at the level of the foreign ministers of the 15 members of the European Union and the 12 other Mediterranean countries.
