Morocco extends assistance to central American countries hit by Mitch cyclone

Morocco has extended financial assistance to the central American countries which had been affected by Mitch cyclone last November.

A Moroccan delegation visited to this effect Guatemala, Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua to express Morocco's sympathy with these countries and extend them a financial assistance to help them cope with the incidence of the catastrophe that caused serious damage.

The delegation conferred with several senior officials of these countries on means to enlarge the prospects of cooperation between Morocco and Central American countries.
