King Hussein returns to Mayo Clinic
King Hussein of Jordan left Amman on Tuesday heading for the US to be admitted once again to the Mayo Clinic where he had been under medical treatment for cancer.
In press statements, the King's special doctor, Samir Farraj, who is accompanying the King on his trip to the US, said the King has once again had a high temperature and is suffering "weak resistance," which suggests that the disease has come back to him.
King Hussein who himself announced that had recovered from cancer, said he would not go back to the US before next March in order to undergo routine medical tests.
On the other hand, Prince Abdullah Bin al-Hussein was sworn in before the ministry commission the constitutional oath as a viceroy during the absence of the king from Jordan.
