Inaugurating the conference of French tourist companies in Luxor on Wednesday

Egyptian Minister of Tourism Mamdouh El-Beltagi is going to inaugurate the general conference for the national organization of French tourism and travel agencies, SNAF, which is to be held in Luxor this week.

1,000 French tourist companies belonging to the union members are going to take part in the conference in addition to French Minister of Tourism Michelle Demessine, who is to pay a formal visit to Egypt during the three-day conference at the invitation of the Egyptian minister of tourism.

Demessine is to attend to conference in the light of Egyptian efforts to encourage tourism in Egypt, specifically because France brings second-most tourists to Egypt after Italy, more than the United States or Germany.

Moreover, the Egyptian Union for tourist chambers will convene several vocational meetings with their French counterparts to discuss aspects of mutual cooperation and endorse special contracts to regulate the visit of French tourists to Egypt during the coming summer season.
