Wholesale price index increased by 3.3% in 1998

The average wholesale price index increased by 3.3 percent in the period between January and November 1998. According to the statistics department, the increase was mainly noticed in the agriculture and industrial sectors where indexes rose respectively by 4.7 % and 2.3 %.
