Shortage in Algerian budget amounts to 173 billion dinars

Originally published

The Algerian draft general budget is expected to achieve a shortage of 173 billion Algerian dinar due to the deterioration of petroleum's prices in the international markets.

Algerian sources told ArabicNews.com that the draft budget expects revenues of 937.1 billion Algerian dinars, in comparison to 1098.57 billion last year.

Despite this shortage the sources confirmed that the target of the general budget is to achieve a comprehensive economic reform through tax measures rather than cutting basic services to citizens.
