Iranian protest against normalization with the US
The Iranian capital, Tehran on Sunday witnessed a large demonstration in which thousands of Iranian university students participated in protest against the US practices against peoples of the world, especially against the people of Iraq.
The demonstrators chanted slogans against the US and Israel, condemning the recent US-British attacks on Iraq. They called on the world's peoples and international organizations to carry out their duties in "countering the American intransigence," announcing solidarity with the people of Iraq in their ordeal and putting an end to US practices which are in contradiction with all UN charters and norms.
The Iranian demonstrators, moreover, condemned Israel's "aggressive and expansionist" policy against the Palestinian people, affirming their solidarity with the struggle mounted by the Palestinian people for liberating their lands, regaining their usurped rights and establishing their independent state with Jerusalem as a capital.
