Reducing value of Algerian dinar by 5.8%

The Algerian central bank announced a reduction in the value of the dinar by 5.8% in relation to the United States dollar.

Moreover the bank specified the exchange rate at 60.3 to the dollar compared with the average of rate this year which amount to 57 dinar for one dollar.The bank did not mention - in its press statement released yesterday - any explanation for this decision that coincides with the increase in the price of consumed goods and services along with Ramadan by the rate of 13% for some goods, such as meats and vegetables.
