80 countries to participate in Cairo International Book Fair

The 31st Cairo International Book Fair which will open its doors on January 26 and last for two weeks has received the agreement of 80 countries and nine international organizations to take part in this event, held under the title of "How to get ready for the coming century," through discussing the Arab and local issues, social and economic reform, national unity and factional life.

Moreover the fair will witness the third conference for the Arab and Egyptian publishers' union which is to discuss the distribution of books and problems obstructing the publishing process in Arab states.
