Beilin calls for immediate withdrawal from South Lebanon

Member of the Israeli Knesset for the Labor Party Yossi Beilin called for the immediate withdrawal of the Israeli Army from south Lebanon.

In an interview with Israeli Army Radio on Wednesday, Beilin said that what is called "the security zone in south Lebanon has proven it brings no security for the Israelis, especially for the settlers in the Israeli settlements in the northern region, in particular."

Beilin stated that Israel is the side that violates the April Understanding, rather than the Lebanese resistance which usually in its operations retaliates for Israel's violations of the April Understanding.
