Originally published

US President Bill Clinton said today on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the Lockerbie bombing that the Libyan suspects, if convicted during their trial-to-be, will have to serve their term in Scotland. Clinton said this issue is not negotiable. He added that the US intends to ask the United Nations at its next sanctions-review meeting to tighten the sanctions if Libya refuses to hand over the two suspects.
