King Hassan II renewed confidence that the Muslim Nation is able to take up all challenges to achieve its objectives.

In a message to Muslim heads of state on the occasion of the advent of the fasting month of Ramadan, the king called for reflection on the situation of the Muslim Nation, its present reality and aspirations to live in dignity.

King Hassan II also urged the Muslim states "to carry out the mission with which God entrusted Muslims and to deserve the honor that the Almighty vested on them as a nation of the happy medium whose ideal is to defend justice and equity, fight evil and reject all factors of division and discord."

Ramadan started on Sunday in most Arab and Muslim countries.
