A message from Mubarak to Clinton

The Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak today sent an urgent message to US President Bill Clinton in which he urged the latter to halt military operations against Iraq promptly so as to preserve the lives of the Iraqi people and prevent further deterioration in conditions in the region. Monte Carlo radio said.
