Turkish air force commander in Israel

Commander of the Turkish Air Force Elhan Keleij arrived in Israel on Sunday for a three-day official visit at the invitation of his Israeli counterpart, Eitan Bin Elahu, in the course of strengthening cooperation between the two sides.

An Israeli military spokesman said that Keleij will meet during his visit with the Israeli President Ezer Weizman, the defense minister Yitzhak Mordechai and the chief of staff Shaoul Moufaz. During his visit, the Turkish General will visit Israeli military firms. However, in recent months, Turkey and Israel signed several military co-operation agreements.
