Palestinian Women's Union calls on international community to work for release of detainees

The Palestinian Women's Union will hold tomorrow in Cairo a meeting to express their solidarity with Palestinian detainees in Israeli prisons.

The union, headed by Samira Abu Gazala, sent cables to the Palestinian President Yasser Arafat urging him to working for release of Palestinian strugglers.

The union also urged the international association's connect the detained captives to support them in achieving their demands.

The union also sent similar cables to the Red Cross, the US embassy, the French embassy, the Arab League, the United Nations bureau and the organization of the African - Asian conference.
