Cairo says second round of US - Egyptian dialogue is a success

Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa stated that meetings of joint committees are taking place according to certain time schedules with all Arab and African countries.

In statements to ArabicNews.com, Moussa said there might be a joint committee on the account of other joint committee works -- for instance, there is a certain program and dates of private meetings for the Egyptian - Syrian high joint committee and the work in its process according to what was agreed upon in the high committee.

On the other hand, Moussa confirmed that the second round of the Egyptian - US strategic dialogue was very important and positive, tackling all important issues and opening the way for understanding between the two sides.

The discussion led to agreement on certain points concerning the necessary joint work for rescuing the peace process.
