Ross calls for calming situations down at West Bank

US middle east envoy Dennis Ross urged Israeli and Palestinian leaders to halt clashes taking place in the streets of West Bank. Following talks Ross held with Israeli premier Natenyahu last night, Ross said that the disputes should be substituted by negotiations.

The Israeli forces have been clashing for a week with Palestinians who are demonstrating for the release of some 2000 Palestinian in the Israeli jails.
