Syria's ambassador in Cairo negates confidential communications between Damascus and Israel

Issah Darwish, the Syrian ambassador in Cairo, stated that there are no confidential communications between Syria and Israel, and that a return to negotiations must start from the moment at which they stopped and progress according to the land for peace principle.

That came after a meeting between Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa yesterday with the Syrian ambassador, who expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Egyptian president for the efforts he exerted to end the crisis between Turkey and Syria.
