Mandela concludes visit to UAE

South African President Neslon Mandela has concluded a three-day official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at the invitation of the UAE President Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan al-Nahyan where bilateral relations were discussed.

Mandela also met with UN Secretary General Kofi Annan and Arab League Secretary General Esmat Abdul Meguid. He took part in the opening ceremony of the Gulf Cooperation Council's 19th summit, which began on Monday.
