Eritrean foreign minister visits Khartoum

Sudanese Foreign Minister Mustafa Othman Ismael has stated that Eritrean Foreign Minister Haile Weldensae will visit Khartoum to take part in the works of the African conference on refugees.

Ismael said that some 27 foreign ministers, including the foreign minister of Ethiopia, will represent their countries at the conference, which will be attended by 40 countries and 20 international organizations.

Ismael did not elaborate on the possibility of convening Sudanese - Eritrean or Ethiopian - Eritrean political talks on the sidelines of the conference, which will be dedicated to discussing issues pertaining to African people who fled their countries to neighboring countries.
