Bush in Oman

Oman News Agency reported that former US President George Bush arrived on Thursday in Muscat, his fifth stop during a tour of the Arab Gulf states, where he will inaugurate the American school in Muscat and will visit several archaeological sites in the Sultanate.

Bush, who also visited Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain in the framework of this tour, said he will meet with Oman's Sultan Qaboos Bin Saeed.

Bush led the allied troops that liberated Kuwait from seven months of Iraqi occupation from August 1990 to February 1991. Bush visited Egypt before he started his Gulf tour.
