Iraqi irrigation minister in Damascus

Iraqi Minister of Irrigation Mahmoud Diab al-Ahmad and members of his accompanying delegation arrived in Damascus on Wednesday. The visit will last for several days.

In an arrival statement to SANA, the Iraqi minister praised the Syrian people and leadership. He added: "I feel at home with my family and country. Hopefully, we will cooperate with Mr. al-Madani [the Syrian minister of irrigation] for the interests of the two countries in the area of irrigation."
