Meeting on Arab metallurgy industry convenes in Rabat

Deliberations of the 15th session of the executive council of the Arab organization for industrial development and Metallurgy started in Rabat on Tuesday with the participation of representatives from 13 Arab states.

The organization's director general said in an inaugural speech that his organization will give priority during the two next years, to support Arab industries, upgrade their competition capability, coordinating and contributing to the establishment of an Arab free trade area.

He continued that the organization will work to complete building up an Arab network for informatics, preparing unified standardization of specifications and setting origin regulations for Arab industries.
