Gaddafi regrets not being invited to participate in French- African summit
A Libyan official in Cairo said today that Libyan leader Moammar Gaddafi did not express his desire to participate in the 20th African - French summit, but he felt regret that he did not receive an invitation for his country to attend this summit.
A Libyan spokesman said that Gaddafi did not show any desire to attend this conference, even if he would have received an invitation from French President Jacques Chirac.
He added, "Libya's resentment is limited to its astonishment in not being invited as a major African country that pays great concern to the issues of the African continent."
