Egyptian, Syrian officials discuss relations, bilateral concerns

Egypt's assistant foreign minister for Arab and Middle East affairs, Sayed Abu Zied, received the Syrian ambassador in Cairo, Eissa Darwish. Abu Zied said that during the meeting, they discussed recent developments in the Middle East peace process, and the outcomes of the meetings Damascus Declaration states' foreign ministers, held recently in Doha, Qatar.

Abu Zied added that the meeting also tackled Egyptian - Syrian bilateral relations and methods of enhancing them in different areas.
