Egypt hails peace agreement in Kosovo

Egypt indicated approval of the peace agreement signed between conflicting parties in Kosovo with Serbia under the patronage of the US and European Union.

The agreement dictates the spread of supervisors affiliated to the organization of security and European cooperation in the Kosovo enclave.

Assistant Foreign Minister Fathi El-Shazely said today that Egypt praises this agreement, adding that it opens the way for resolving the situation in Kosovo peacefully, with a settlement accepted by all parties.

El-Shazely emphasized the importance of implementing the agreement, adding that it is important to apply the agreement with good intentions and honest desire to avoid further bloodshed.
