Euro listed on Moroccan Banks as of January

Morocco announced that the European single currency (Euro) will be listed on the Moroccan banks' exchange rates starting next January 4.

The Moroccan exchange office informed banks and economic operators to take the necessary arrangements pending the enforcement of the measure.

During the transition period, running until next January 4, economic operators can choose the Euro or the national currencies of the Euro countries in their transactions with foreign countries.
