Establishing the first Omani company for registering bank notes

Sultan Qaboos Bin Said of Oman issued yesterday a decree establishing an Omani company called the Muscat Deposit and Securities Registration Company.

An Omani source told ArabicNews.com today that the contract for establishing the company and its main system is subject to the provisions of Oman's commercial companies code.

This company is Oman's first that working in this field. The company will replace the United Bureau for Deposit and Transfer in the Muscat Securities Market.
