Algerian cultural week in Paris

Algeria is currently holding a cultural week at Paris' Magic Cinema, under the title of "Greetings to Algeria." The current week, which will conclude on Wednesday, includes symposiums, fairs and meetings in addition to an Algerian cinema presentation covering Algeria's independence to the present.

Director Mohammed al-Akhdar took part in a discussion series covering the current state of Algerian cinema. An Algerian diplomatic source in Cairo said there is a suggestion that this week would be repeated once more in a number of European countries.
