Palestinian industrial union established

Palestinian industrialists in the West Bank and Gaza Strip have decided to establish a union carrying the name of "General Union of Palestinian Industrialists."

They agreed to form a preliminary authority and authorize it to prepare the necessary documents for the union's establishment, to be presented in the group's first conference, which is to be held within the next four months.

The decision was taken in a meeting held in Ramallah, which was attended by Palestinian Minister of Industry Saadi Alkrunz and a number of Palestinian businessmen and industrialists.
