French frigate to visit Kuwait

The French embassy in Kuwait announced yesterday in a news release that the frigate Lafayette will arrive in Kuwait at the beginning of December, in a visit aimed at enhancing the relations between the French and Kuwaiti armed forces.

The news release said that the commander of the frigate will meet with Kuwaiti officials during the five-day visit. Military officials also stated yesterday that the first group of eight French war boats will arrive Kuwait during February.
