Kuwait urges Iraq not to stir crisis with the UN

Kuwaiti urged Iraq yesterday not to stir a new crisis with the UN to avoid its negative effects on the Iraqi people.

Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmed blamed the Iraqi government for the continuation of sanctions and for the Iraqi people's suffering the due to its non-adherence to UN Security Council resolutions, in reference to Iraq's refusal to deliver the UN a document regarding the Iraqi military arsenal.
